Gearing up and getting ready
For kayak and canoeists, winter is spent preparing for a full season on the water. At SEA-LECT DESIGNS, we’re preparing for that and a lot more.
For the first time, SEA-LECT DESIGNS will be at two key outdoor recreation shows — Canoecopia and Paddlesport 2010.
Since 1976, Canoecopia is where outdoors enthusiasts “meet the people who build the boats.” We’re pleased to be invited to this event, the largest of its kind in the U.S. It’s set for Mar. 12-14 at the Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wis. Two weeks later, The Jersey Paddler’s Paddlesport 2010 sets up at the Garden State Exhibit Center in Somerset, N.J. It’s the largest kayak, canoe and outdoor sports show on the East Coast.
We’ll be at both shows to connect with manufacturers, retailers and consumers, and to present not only our current product line, but also to gather ideas for new, innovative products. After all, that’s we’re all about.
Been a while since you’ve been out on the water? Kayakers and canoeists use specific sets of muscles that work in tandem with each other. Now is the time to shake off the rust and get your bod in shape for what you love.
Here is a Web sites that present kayak- and canoe-specific exercises for novice and expert paddlers. Workouts now will make your playtime much more enjoyable.
